British journalist Andrew Frankel had a mission: to take a Mercedes E300 Class BlueTEC Hybrid from Tangier to Goodwood.
It was with a mission accomplished that Andrew Frankel arrived in Goodwood after traveling 1968 km, passing through 2 continents, 4 countries, in three different time zones. An adventure that was photographed in a hurry, as at the end of the trip only 27 hours had passed since departure and even so, the Mercedes E300 Class BlueTEC Hybrid still had diesel in the tank.

The Mercedes E300 Class BlueTEC Hybrid used in this challenge had an extra installed: the 80-litre tank, an option that in the UK costs 125 euros. Otherwise, no changes were made to the car.
The final consumption balance was 3.8 liters per 100km. The team that accompanied the trip says they went through difficult areas: high temperatures, heavy traffic, heavy rain and wide variations in altitude.
