Full stop. There is no Giulia Sportwagon for anyone

The Alfa Romeo Giulia family variant has been scratched from the brand's plans for years to come, and the culprit is the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio.

From the moment it was unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio has grabbed the attention of the automotive world. So it's not surprising that Alfa Romeo wants to focus on this new model. Who paid the bill was the van version of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, which will not be produced.

In an interview with Car Magazine, Alfredo Altavilla, the brand's head of production, explained the reasons behind this decision, which had already been taken more than a year ago, but which continued to be fed by the press:

“We decided not to go forward with the Giulia Sportwagon. Do we need it if the Alfa Romeo Stelvio handles so well? Maybe not. With our small settings, the Stelvio can perfectly attract all potential customers who would otherwise be interested in the Sportwagon.”

NOT TO BE MISSED: This is Alfa Romeo's plan for the next 4 years

Remember that the Alfa Romeo Stelvio will be the highlight of the stand of the Italian brand at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
