Lexus LFA: last copy produced

Anonim

The last Lexus LFA came out of the Motomachi factory, one of 500 produced. The Lexus LFA officially joins the list of the most exclusive cars in the world.

Almost 170 people were involved in the production of this super sports car. The body of the Lexus LFA is 65% F1-grade carbon fiber and underneath the engine they mounted a 4.8 liter V10 with 560hp, one of the fastest and liveliest engines in the automotive industry. More than a car, for Toyota, the Lexus LFA was an experience. Building a car from a blank sheet was a challenge that, after overcoming it, gave the Japanese construction company knowledge and maturity.

Since the beginning of its production, it was known that in December 2012 the last LFA would be produced and on December 14th, it happened, at the end of 500 units and at the rate of one unit per day of work, as predicted by the construction company at start-up of production. The latter, in white, comes with the Nürburgring Package, an extra deserved by the 7:14.64 mark achieved on a lap of the circuit. Today we say goodbye to a car that is already an icon and that will certainly mark the brand's next sportier models.
