BMW has just introduced the majestic BMW Z4 Zagato Coupé and at first glance, it's impossible to hate this German beauty with an Italian accent.
The engine and all the other technical details are similar to what we can already find in the current Z4, but if we take the matter to an aesthetic level, then we'll have a lot to talk about...
Of course, this project had the hand of Zagato, the Italian company that is responsible for this spectacular design work. The famous Milan bodybuilder has created one of the most attractive prototypes today, making the Z4 an even more aggressive and elegant car. By the way, the original model is already a real treat for our eyes.
BMW has already registered the Zagato to be driven on European roads, so it is quite likely that some copies will be sold.
The company's Director and designer Andrea Zagato could not fail to leave his testimony, “It is relatively easy to create a design study that is not intended to be used on the road. It is not necessary to comply with all the regulations governing safety in accidents or protection of pedestrians, which opens up a series of new directions in terms of design. The challenge is to inject the emotional appeal of a prototype car into a machine that can run on the road. We think we can do just that with the BMW Zagato Coupé.”
The Zagato Coupé saw its aluminum bodywork being molded by hand by some of the best craftsmen in the world, a gesture that makes this BMW even more special. For us, maybe the window area over the Kamm rear is a little too futuristic, although when the taillights are on it's extraordinary. Everything else works out to perfection.
