Citroën C5 X. All prices for the new French top of the range

Anonim

Revealed a few months ago (we've even been able to see it live), the new Citron C5 X is getting closer to reaching Portuguese roads, and is already available for order in our country.

With a style that hardly leaves anyone indifferent, the new C5 X marks the return of Citroën to the D-segment and, curiously, the abandonment of Diesel engines by the top of the range of the Gallic brand (since the CX, launched in 1974, that all Citroën's flagships had a diesel engine).

Thus, this crossover that tries to bring together the best of the world of saloons, hatchbacks and SUVs presents itself with a range consisting of two petrol engines and a plug-in hybrid.

Already more in line with Citroën tradition is the focus on comfort. There is plenty of space on board and the C5 X has Advanced Comfort seats and the already much talked about progressive hydraulic stopper suspension (optionally it can be replaced by a variable damping suspension, the Advanced Comfort Active Suspension).

Another strong bet of the new top-of-the-range Gallic is technology. In this field, the touchscreen up to 12” (10” series) stands out, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly.

There is also the debut of an advanced HUD (Extended Head Up Display) capable of projecting information at a perceived distance of 4 m in an area equivalent to a 21” screen and the reinforcement of driving assistants, allowing semi-autonomous driving (level two).
