The Lamborghini Miura is for many the “father of modern supersports”, and this unique example will go on sale next Saturday. Who gives more?
Rod Stewart is known to the general public as a singer and songwriter. But in addition to music and football, Stewart is also an Italian supercar enthusiast, namely the Lamborghini Miura. Is not difficult. The Italian sports car not only had the reputation of being the fastest car at the time, it is also a “masterpiece” in terms of aesthetics – the images speak for themselves.
The British artist was the first owner of this Lamborghini Miura P400 S (in the pictures) , registered in 1971, and which over the years went from hand to hand until reaching a dealership, which decided to upgrade to SV specification: 4.0 liter V12 engine with 385 hp of power transmitted to the rear axle (through a five-speed gearbox), reconfigured suspension and new taillights.

More recently, in 2013, this Miura underwent a complete restoration by the experts at Colin Clarke Engineering. Suspension, steering and braking were the major mechanical improvements, while on an aesthetic level the company gave the Miura back the original blue blue notte of the bodywork and leather interiors.This is one of 764 units that left the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory and will now be available for an estimated value between 900,000 and 1,000,000 euros. The Lamborghini Miura P400 S will be auctioned by Classic & Sports Car this Saturday (October 29) in London, at The Classic & Sports Car Show.
