The new Jaguar XE has abandoned rear-wheel drive but the brand guarantees that it has not lost character or agility.
This really seems to be one of the big bets of the British brand to attack the sports saloon market. The new Jaguar XE range will comprise the XE Pure, XE Prestige, XE Portfolio, XE R-Sport and XE S versions. The new Jaguar will feature five different powertrains: a 2.0 liter 163 hp diesel block; a 2.0 liter 180 hp diesel; a 2.0 liter gasoline engine with 200 hp; a 2.0 liter petrol engine with 240 hp and last (but not least) a 3.0 liter petrol V6 with 340 hp.

But the big news is really the new all-wheel drive system with an improved torque distribution that the brand guarantees to be ideal for all kinds of weather conditions. Thanks to the new AdSR (Adaptive Surface Response) traction control, it is possible to distinguish between different types of road grip, with the aim of providing safer handling in all conditions.
Inside, among the novelties, we highlight the InControl Touch Pro information and entertainment system, with a 10.2-inch touchscreen and a sound system with 16 speakers. The Jaguar XE also features a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight devices.
