SKYACTIV-G 1.5 gasoline with 100hp.This chapter of the new diesel engine is the highlight of the Mazda 3 range – made up of Hatchback (HB) and Coupe Style (CS) variants – on sale in Portugal with a 1.5 liter four-cylinder SKYACTIV-D block, one single turbo, low compression ratio (14.8:1) and 105 hp with 270 Nm of torque (between 1600 and 2500 rpm). Mazda claims emissions of 99 g/km for the new engine, as well as a combined consumption average of 3.8 l/100 km.

In addition to lowering consumption and reducing emissions, the new Diesel engine, due to its very low compression rate, from the user's point of view, allows the engine's range of use (revolution) to be wider, as occurs in engines. gasoline, reducing engine noise.
