Mazda prepares two new products for Geneva

Mazda confirmed the presence of the RX-Vision Concept and a new engine with low CO2 emissions at the Swiss event, which will take place next month.

The Japanese brand will present next month a new more efficient and ecological Mazda 3, equipped with a SkyActiv-D 1.5l diesel engine (similar to the one used in the Mazda 2 and Mazda CX-3) that promises to be the most efficient than the brand. ever produced (consumes of 3.8L/100km on a combined cycle emitting 99g/km of CO2). Introduced in November last year, the engine in the new Mazda emits 103hp and 270Nm of torque, crossing the 0-100km/h target in 11 seconds and reaching 187km/h of top speed.

After being unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show and having been voted “Most Beautiful Car of the Year”, the Mazda RX-Vision will also be present at the Swiss event. The car that represents the maximum exponent of the KODO language, presents itself with 4,489m in length, 1,925mm in width, 1160mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,700mm. The Hiroshima-based brand did not provide details about the engines, it is only known that it will have a wankel engine.
