Bentley celebrates 95 years of existence. To commemorate the anniversary, the historic English brand has just presented an even more exclusive edition of one of its models. Meet the Bentley Mulsanne 95.

It's been 95 years of building cars that are authentic odes to luxury and performance. And to mark this date, Bentley has filled the Mulsanne with unique details, which will make these scarce 15 units to be produced, a rare model and much desired by collectors.

The specifications for this model were relatively easy to draw up: choose the best possible material and work it to perfection. The end result is what you can see in the photos.

Outside, the color options are limited to Britannia Blue, Empire Red and Oxford White. Colors that are a clear allusion to the British flag. For this reason, the British Racing Green color, which is closely linked to the brand's history, was excluded from this special edition of the Bentley Mulsanne 95. Also highlighted are the 21-inch wheels designed specifically for this limited edition.

But it is in the interior, that the Bentley Mulsanne, wins the arguments that accredit it as an exotic luxury piece of future rarity. The Bentley Mulsanne 95 appears for the 1st time in the automotive industry with a dashboard – and other finishes… – with the best walnut wood, coming from a tree with an age between 300 and 400 years.

For those more concerned about nature, calm down. This century-old tree was not purposely felled to satisfy the whims of a wealthy customer. The death of this century-old tree was due to a natural disaster that shook the Fulbeck Hall region of Lincolnshire in 2007.

Fortunately Bentley bought your wood. And the result of the use of this raw material, was an interior of inserts in walnut of exceptional quality, where it is possible to observe the rings, which in large part reflect the life of this walnut tree over the centuries.

We remind you that Bentley is one of the brands with the most tradition and experience in the treatment and handling of wood in the automotive industry. That's why its activity, when it comes to the use of this raw material, has always been guided by a sustainable attitude. Less sustainable will be the ecological footprint of the 513hp 6.8l V8 Biturbo engine, which remains unchanged in this version. After that, what will the brand hold for its centenary?
