The current generation of Nissan Micra (K14) was launched in 2017 and since then more than 230 thousand units have been sold in Europe (34 countries). In 2019, the range was refreshed, highlighting the two new engines, 1.0 IG-T and 1.0 DIG-T, which replaced the 0.9 IG-T. For this year, new update. THE Nissan Micra 2021 saw the range restructured and is now available with only one engine, the 1.0 IG-T.

The 1.0 IG-T was revised to comply with the Euro6d emissions standard, but this resulted in a power drop from 100hp to 92hp. On the other hand, torque remained at 160 Nm, but is now reached earlier, at 2000 rpm instead of 2750 rpm before.

Nissan promises greater efficiency and reduced emissions, announcing fuel consumption between 5.3-5.7 l/100 km and CO2 emissions between 123-130 g/km for the 1.0 IG-T with five-speed manual transmission, and 6.2-6.4 l/100 km and 140-146 g/km for the one equipped with the CVT transmission (continuous variation box).

The updated Nissan Micra 2021 sees the range spread over five levels: Visia, Acenta, N-Sport, N-Design and Tekna.

THE N-Sport permanently joins the range, standing out for the sportier garments marked by their black tone: in glossy black on the front, additional finishes on the rear, side, mirror protection, and also the 17″ wheels (Perso) come in the same shade . LED headlights and fog lights are also standard. Inside, the N-Sport stands out for its seats with Alcantara inserts, as in the front panel.

THE N-Design allows customizing, as standard, the finishes on the front, rear, sides and on the mirror protection or in Gloss Black (glossy black) or Chrome (chrome). Rounding out the set are the new two-tone 16-inch (Genki) wheels — also present in the Acenta version.

Inside, the N-Design has black fabric seats with gray accents, knee pads and leather-like finishes on the doors. As an option we have the Energy Orange interior, in which we can find various accessories in orange tone.

THE tekna it stands out for its on-board technology, with equipment such as a 360º camera, moving object detection and blind spot warning as standard. It also comes equipped with the BOSE Personal sound system.

From the Acenta level onwards, the NissanConnect infotainment system with TomTom navigation is available in all versions. Also from Acenta, Apple CarPlay (with Siri) and Android Auto are also available.

Finally, there is also an optional safety package that includes: Automatic High End System, Intelligent Lane Keeping System, Traffic Signal Identifier and Intelligent Front Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.
