The Ingolstadt brand has been awarded the Digital Economy Award.

At a ceremony that took place in the German city of Bonn, Audi received the Digital Economy Award for the category “company 4.0”. The award was first presented by the Initiative Deutschland Digital, a multi-industry network working on the digital transformation of the German economy. The members of the jury responsible for evaluating the companies' digital projects come from the business, political and science sectors.

In order to create synergies and remain competitive, the German brand has been investing in the digitalization of its production units. In the near future, Audi intends to implement a platform developed by nextLAP, which will gather all relevant information for the production process.

“In this way, we will be able to reach the next phase of digitization, as all information about production and logistics will be stored on a platform. This will make it possible to implement complex processes significantly faster, more flexibly and cost-effectively, while optimizing them. holistically with algorithms smart.”
