Audi RS7 challenges Burj Khalifa elevators

Who will be faster: the Audi RS7 Sportback or the elevators of the Burj Khalifa, the biggest skyscraper in the world?

At the wheel of the Audi RS7 Sportback is Edoardo Mortara, a professional Audi Sport driver. In the elevators of the Burj Khalifa (the largest arranger of skies in the world) we have Musa Khalfan Yasin, the fastest sprinter in the UAE.

The aim of the “Elevation Challenge” was to find out if the RS7 would be able to cover the 1,249 meters of Jebel Hafeet Mountain before Musa Yasin reached the top of Burj Khalifa, which it has a height of 828 meters and is the highest infrastructure created by humans.

As the tallest skyscraper in the world, of course, it has the fastest elevators in the world, reaching a speed of 36 km/h. But on the other side, we have a sports car with technical characteristics that make it envy: 4.0 liter V8 engine that delivers 552 hp and 700 Nm of torque , 8-speed transmission and all-wheel drive. This translates to accelerations from 0 to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h.

Despite the distances being different, the Audi had everything to get the better of it, right? Well, the outcome of this challenge is not so obvious, even due to the slight mishap in the middle of the route on the Jebel Hafeet mountain. Curious? See the video below:
