Bugatti Chiron Super Sport on the way?

The designs by designer Theophilus Chin allow us to foresee the external appearance of the future Super Sport version for the Chiron.

In March of this year, Bugatti presented in Geneva what is considered to be the fastest production car on the planet, the Bugatti Chiron. Despite this title, so far Bugatti has not made any attempt to break the world speed record in the production car category with the new Chiron. Is Bugatti saving itself for the Super Sport version?

For now, there is still no official confirmation, but it is known that as it did with its predecessor Veyron, the French brand is considering a limited Super Sport version for the Chiron, with improvements in terms of aerodynamics and an increase in power. If realized, this could mean a rise of 1500 hp to an impressive 1750 hp of maximum power, extracted from the 8.0 liter W16 quad-turbo engine.

While Bugatti doesn't make up his mind, designer Theophilus Chin decided to share his own designs for the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport (above), taking inspiration from the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, a prototype presented at the last Frankfurt Motor Show and which was purpose-developed for the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo game. The highlight is undoubtedly the large rear wing.

Bearing in mind that the current Chiron takes 2.5 seconds from 0 to 100km/h and reaches a maximum speed of 458km/h without the electronic limiter, the performance values of a hypothetical Bugatti Chiron Super Sport are left to your imagination…
