RazãoAutomóvel is pleased to inform you that the first Portuguese electric sports car, the VEECO Prototype, will be presented on February 3rd, at 4 pm, at the Arena Lounge at Casino de Lisboa.
This prototype is the result of extensive research by VE (Portuguese factory of electric vehicles), in partnership with the Superior Institute of Engineering of Lisbon (ISEL), with the EUREKA seal and co-financed by QREN.
The 100% Portuguese electric sports car “was studied and conceived from scratch, with the objective of creating a vehicle of excellence, which stands out for its efficiency, engineering, design and sporting character”. With a drop-shaped design, this reverse trike (two wheels at the front, one at the rear) was designed to maximize aerodynamic efficiency, thus being capable of covering a distance of 400 km. Very interesting numbers…
The released images don't show much but that is the objective, to give free rein to our imagination and leave us curious. So, we decided to go see some concepts already presented and we came to a conclusion, the VECCO Prototype will be similar to the Peugeot EX1 but with a hard-top, Opel One Euro genre. Day 3, let's see if these hunches make sense…
