In addition to the adoption of the Volkswagen Group's latest low-displacement engine – the tricylindrical 1.0 TSI of 115hp and 200Nm – which we already know from the Audi A3, Volkswagen Golf and Seat Ateca, the Skoda Octavia will also receive a chassis with dynamic control (DCC). ) in versions with power greater than 150hp.

For this new 115hp 1.0 TSI engine, which replaces the old 1.2 TSI, the Czech brand claims a reduction in consumption of 8%, now reaching 4.5 l/100km for the limousine version and 4.6 l/ 100km for the break version. This engine will be able to deliver 0-100km/h in just 9.9s or 10.2s depending on gearbox (DSG or manual). The advertised top speed is 202 km/h.
