Cold start. Lamborghini Papal auctioned for 715 thousand euros. Is it a sin?

Anonim

After we've already reported it here at Car Ledger the Pope's decision to auction off the fastest ever papal vehicle, now is the time to reveal the surprising result of the auction carried out by RM Sotheby's. And that ended with the auction of the Lamborghini Huracán in question, for a sum that can almost be considered sinful: 715 thousand euros.

Basically, well over double the amount initially forecast, which was between 253 and 355 thousand euros!

If it was the unique decoration, the fact that it has already been blessed and autographed, or that it belonged to whoever belonged (and who, remember, didn't even get to ride in the car!), that led this Lamborghini Huracán in particular to to reach the astronomical sum that was paid for him, we do not know; we know, yes, that Huracán, more sanctified than this one, does not exist!
