Jaguar Land Rover Announces Record Sales in 2015

Jaguar Land Rover's sales increased 5% over the previous year, with steady growth in Europe, where it sold more than 110,000 units.

Jaguar Land Rover, in global terms, sold a total of 487,065 vehicles, which translates into a growth of 5% compared to 2015. The results of the English brand doubled, compared to 2009.

For the first time in the brand's history, Land Rover has sold more than 400,000 vehicles (403,079 to be exact). Jaguar sales are up 3% from last year, thanks to the launch of both the XF and the new XE, with a total of 83,986 units sold.

According to Jaguar Land Rover, Europe was the sales record, with a total of 110,298 units sold, 21% more than the previous year. The UK had a total of 100,636 deliveries and the US had 94,066 cars of both brands.

While sales in Europe, the United Kingdom and the USA have a tendency to increase, in China there was a decrease of 24% (92,474 units sold).
