A part of the Jaguar Land Rover Group's models will be produced at the new factory in Slovakia. The construction of this factory starts next year.

Interested in the Silverstone Circuit, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) continues to fill the “shopping cart”. This time the news is about the future JLR factory in the city of Nitra, Slovakia. Despite having considered other locations such as the United States and Mexico, the choice of the European city for the expansion of the brand was due to factors such as the supply chain and the quality of the country's infrastructure.

Jaguar Land Rover's £1 billion investment will employ more than 2,800 people and will initially have a production capacity of 150,000 units. In addition to its “home country”, Jaguar Land Rover also produces cars in Brazil, China, India, and now Slovakia.

As for models, JLR only said that its plans are to build a new range of all-new aluminum models. Will we see a new generation of Land Rover Defender born in Slovakia?
