Point out in the calendar: July 13 . This is the presentation date of the new Hyundai i30 N, the first creation of Hyundai's new N Performance department. We're going to be in Düsseldorf, Germany, to see this model's world unveiling.

As planned, the Hyundai i30 N will be equipped with a 2.0 turbo petrol block, available in two power levels: a more «friendly» variant for road driving, with 250 hp, and another more oriented towards performance in track, with 275 hp. The latter will feature several mechanical upgrades, including a self-locking differential.

All power will be transmitted to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. The presence of a double-clutch gearbox in the list of options has not yet been confirmed.

As for dynamics, expectations are high. In addition to being developed by German engineer Albert Biermann (formerly head of BMW's M Performance division), the i30 N made the Nürburgring its second home during several months of development.

In anticipation of the big reveal, which takes place this week, Hyundai shared two videos (below). The Hyundai i30 N is expected to be released later this year.
