The DS E-Tense was the grand winner of the Concours d’Élégance by Chantilly Arts & Élégance Richard Mille, an award that salutes the avant-garde spirit of the French brand.

The Concours d’Élégance by Chantilly Arts & Élégance Richard Mille took place at the Domaine de Chantilly, in France, and brought together a range of eight concept cars, each accompanied by a mannequin dressed in the creation of a renowned stylist. To choose the winning duo, the organization had a jury of experts, made up of drivers, engineers, journalists, designers, painters and collectors, all with something in common: a passion for the automobile. Exterior appearance, interiors, technological innovations, duo of car/dresser… nothing escaped the gaze of the members of the jury.

“Present from the start at this exceptional event, the DS brand is proud to have won the Elegance Contest award with the DS E-Tense. This award pays homage to the “avant-garde” spirit that animates the Brand in everything it conceives, inscribed in our ambition to embody the “savoir-faire” of French luxury in the car. The DS E-Tense is tangible proof of the work we do and that concretely foreshadows the future of the brand”, commented Yves Bonnefont, general director of the brand.

The Concours d’Élégance by Chantilly Arts & Élégance Richard Mille also rewarded the creativity of French couturier Eymeric François, who presented for this occasion a long silk velvet gown, interwoven with around 80 meters of hand-stitched leather bindings.
