The Stuttgart brand has just officially unveiled the first images of the 2015 Mercedes C-Class Station. A model that will rival two other giants in the segment: the BMW 3 Series Touring and the Audi A4 Avant.
As we advanced today, Mercedes has just introduced the new 2015 Mercedes C-Class Station. In this new generation, all the emphasis is on the markedly more dynamic design and the growth of the model, inside and out.

With a total length of 4702mm, the 2015 Mercedes C-Class Station is 96mm longer than its predecessor and has an 80mm longer wheelbase. According to the German brand, the entire front part is the same as the saloon version, but the B-pillar to the rear structure is specific to this version.
This external growth necessarily had repercussions on the share of habitability. The new Mercedes van gains 45mm of legroom and 40mm in width compared to its predecessor. In the trunk, gains are smaller, only 5 liters, now having a capacity of 490 liters (1510 liters with the rear seats folded down).

As an option, the Easy Pack appears for the first time on the Mercedes C-Class Station, a system that allows hands-free opening of the tailgate. The user only needs to run his foot over a radar located under the bumper. Absolute debut in the model is also the adaptive suspension of the brand, the Airmatic.
Despite having grown in every way, the technical department of the brand still managed to reduce the weight of the new German van substantially. On top of the scale, the Mercedes C-Class Station now charges 65kg less. As for the engines, the offer is the one we already know about the saloon version.
