If Ayrton Senna were alive today, he would be 55 years old. Born on March 21, 1960, in São Paulo, Brazil, the Brazilian Formula 1 driver has become bigger than the modality.
Ayrton Senna da Silva is a name known to everyone. If I ask my grandparents at home if they have ever heard of Senna, they will say “yes, he was a great pilot!”. I've already taken the test, check it out. On the other hand, and as Marco Nunes wrote in this article in honor of Ayrton Senna, if I ask my grandparents who Sebastian Vettel or even Lewis Hamilton (Nico Rosberg was much harder to guess…) they certainly won't know how to answer. The Brazilian driver is today more than a Formula 1 driver, because there are and have been many, even though he continues to be a «class» apart. Senna taught us that humility is halfway to success and that when we think we are at our limit, we still haven't seen half of what we can do.
