Now you can turn the Suzuki Jimny into a mini-G or mini-Defender

The new Suzuki Jimmy he fell into everyone's affections. Starting with its appealing, simple, straight appearance, as if it came straight from the 80s; even its excellent off-road capabilities, it has become an international phenomenon, with demand greatly exceeding supply.

Its aesthetic brings it closer to the “sacred monsters” of off-road vehicles, true icons such as the Mercedes-Benz G-Class or the Land Rover Defender — comments such as “it looks like a mini-G” are frequent…

But now a company has decided to bring the Jimny even closer to the historic and iconic G and Defender, by creating aesthetic kits that even more “glue” the little Jimny's appearance to the two off-road vehicles.

Damd Suzuki Jimny Little D and Little G

This transformation is authored by a Japanese company named Damd, specializing in aesthetic kits, which replaces various elements on the Jimny, from the bonnet, grille and bumper, with new ones that look like miniaturized versions of those used in the real G and Defender .

Little G and Little D

As we can see in the images, the jinny little g , has a face (to scale) that looks like the model of the G, featuring a new bonnet, a new grille and even vertical LED indicators, with the lower part inheriting the three air intakes that we can see on the G-Wagen.

You don't stay at the front, as the wheel arch enlargements are new, with a more angular design, just like on the G. Not even the spare wheel cover at the rear has been forgotten...

THE jinny little d follows the same recipe, but with elements modeled on those we know in Defender. Starting with the new bonnet, the revised grille and even the protection and sliding plate, they effectively transform the image of the Jimny into a Defender. At the rear, new bumpers, fenders and even the presence of a “british style” number plate complete the ensemble.

There are no prices yet and the kits will only be available in 2019, but knowing how Japan is adept at car customization, it seems that Damd has a guaranteed success in their hands.
