This week Mazda starts pre-sales of the new Mazda MX-5 RF (Retractable Fastback) in Portugal. The Japanese sports car already has an entry price for the national market.
Production of the Mazda MX-5 RF started earlier this month at the No. 1 factory in Hiroshima (Japan), as did the soft-top version, and from this week it will be available for pre-order.The new derivative of the iconic Mazda MX-5 stands out for its three-section electric roof that results in a fastback with the KODO design philosophy, characteristic of the Japanese brand. All of this is combined with SKYACTIV technology and technological solutions present in the roadster and which extend to other Mazda proposals.

The new MX-5 RF presents itself in Portugal equipped with the same range of SKYACTIV-G petrol engines as the version with canvas hood – 1.5 liters with 131 hp and 2.0 liters with 160 hp – with prices starting at 29,660 euros for version 1.5 Evolve*. The sports car arrives at Portuguese dealerships during the 1st quarter of next year, when the units sold in this pre-sale process begin to be delivered.
