After releasing an official image of the new Jeep Cherokee on our Facebook page, it's time to show the remaining images released by the brand.
Strangely, Jeep didn't release footage of the rear of the new Cherokee – did they realize that the front was already a bad enough nightmare? Probably yes…
Despite this radical change of look, it is clear that the Cherokee's DNA is still present in this new generation, which is quite positive, but we have to be honest… something very strange happened when designing the shape of those headlights. It's as if supermodel Adriana Lima suddenly woke up with her eyes wide open. What a strange sight…
Jeep also declined to disclose details of the powertrains present in the new Cherokee, but it is speculated that it will come with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 3.2-liter gasoline V6. There are even rumors that point to the existence of a 2.0 Diesel and, who knows, a 3.0 liter Diesel. Regardless of the engines, Jeep claims that this model will be the "best in its class".
The Jeep Cherokee 2013 will be presented at the next New York Motor Show and its construction will take place in Toledo, Ohio, USA. The sale to the public is scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2013. It remains for us then to wait for more news.
