Audi recently showed in Las Vegas the technology that promises to revolutionize the day-to-day of drivers. It is true that the first model in which it will be applied is not for all portfolios, but the innovation is there and later, as always in the history of the automobile, the democratization of advanced equipment will come. The system uses two radars, 8 ultrasonic sensors and a video camera with a large image range.
The German construction company is focused on reducing the stress caused by traffic on drivers, the aim is to ensure that driving an Audi is a real relief for those traveling in the hustle of big cities. The system guarantees control of the steering wheel, speed and acceleration, always leaving a safe margin of approach to the vehicle in front. This effectiveness is guaranteed by the advanced radar system mounted on the vehicle. The system is calibrated to work up to 60 km/h and was presented on an Audi A6 Avant, but it will be the next Audi A8 to debut it.
