The production version of the sports car with titanium bodywork is scheduled for presentation next September.
In three weeks time, the Italian brand Icona will present its first sports car, the Vulcano Titanium. After several years of being present at all kinds of international fairs, still in the development stage, the production version of the Italian sports car debuts at the Salon Privé Concours d'Elégance, an event that takes place in Oxfordshire, England, from 1 to September 3rd. So far, it is not known how many units will be produced, but everything indicates that each one will be on sale for the “modest” amount of 2.5 million euros, more than a Bugatti Chiron, the fastest production car on the planet.
But what makes this sport so special?Since 2011, Icona has been working hard to create a super sports car that stands out for its dominant look and overwhelming power. Therefore, when it comes to design, the Italian brand was inspired by the Blackbird SR-71, the fastest plane in the world. In addition, the entire bodywork was made of titanium and carbon fiber, something unprecedented in the automotive industry.
