Are you a Japanese SUV lover? Then we have good news for you! The new Mitsubishi Outlander is already on sale in the old continent.
The Japanese brand started marketing its new SUV on the Russian market, with prices ranging between 25,000 and 33,000 euros. For Portugal, unfortunately, we won't have the same luck, as the base version shouldn't cost less than €35,000…
Initially, the new generation Outlander will consist of two gasoline engines, a 2.0 liter of 145 hp and a 2.4 liter of 167 hp, both equipped with an automatic transmission of the type CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Regarding traction, it can be front or four-wheel drive, just choose.
As we've said here before, a diesel variant with a 2.0 or 2.2 block is also expected to deliver around 150 hp. The new Outlander is described by the Japanese as “solid, simple and safe” and in addition to that, it also debuts a new brand design line (the new Lancer and Pajero should also follow the same path).
In the coming weeks, it will be Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the United Kingdom's turn to receive this new SUV, we hope that it won't take much longer for Portugal…
