Today the price of the new Mercedes SL 65 AMG was found out – car that has already deserved our attention here – and we only have one thing to say… We warned you!
If you remember, we said that this roadster would be launched on the German market in September, with prices starting at €236.334. Information that is correct, but with one if not, we didn't say the value it would have in the national market but we were already expecting something exorbitant… And as we don't want to cause you any digestive breakdown, let's first make a more friendly introduction.
This “shark” is the most powerful of all current Mercedes – Yes! It is more powerful than the SLS AMG – it has a 6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that delivers a mere 630 hp (59 hp more than the SLS AMG) and 1000 Nm of maximum torque. However, it is not faster, as it goes from 0 – 100 km/h in 4 seconds, that is, 0.2 seconds slower than the SLS AMG.
Now that their mouths water, let's get down to business. In Germany it takes €236,334 to acquire this “animal”, here in Portugal it only takes €303,500!!! Come on, don't be cheap, €303,500 is nothing these days…
