Mclaren and Ferrari seem destined for a confrontation. The clashes on the world's roads and circuits have now extended to an unlikely scenario: the Winter Olympics. In a confrontation that, by the irony of fate, is once again a clash of nations.
This is because the two brands are involved with the national teams, Italian and English respectively, in the Bobsled discipline – a discipline that is nothing more than a competition of sleds driven by gravity, on a hemicyclic track with an ice surface.
Both Ferrari and Mclaren have brought their expertise in aerodynamics and composite materials handling to bear to help their teams develop bobsled sleds.
