Lotus will be present at the Geneva Motor Show with two new models that intend to expand the range of the British brand.

It is known that a saloon and an SUV are in Lotus plans and it is expected that they reach the market in 2019, the next Geneva Motor Show may bring news in this regard. The information was shared by Lotus CEO Jean-Marc Gales, who added that he will himself "raise the curtain" on the two new production models for the British brand. Lotus' idea is to make some sporty models of the Norwich brand more suitable for everyday travel.

So far, no speculative images or teasers have been revealed, so we'll be left to our own imagination until the Geneva Motor Show, which opens its doors to the press on March 1st.

In addition to the two new models, Lotus will be showing up close the new Lotus 3-Eleven, in its two road and track versions. It is said “out there” that the track version will be able to produce more than 460 horsepower and that it will be able to reach 100 km/h in just 3 seconds.

Another novelty that comes to us from this UK brand is the recently presented Lotus Elise Cup 250 which, together with the Lotus 3-Eleven, promises to impress the Nürburgring chronometer. Unveiled last week, the new Lotus Elise Cup 250 subtracted 21kg from the weight and added 26 horsepower to the power, compared to the “normal” Elise. Thanks to these numbers, the hardcore version of the British roadster takes just 3.9 seconds to reach 100km/h, reaching a maximum speed of 248km/h.
