Ferrari celebrates its 60th anniversary in the North American market with the Ferrari F60 America, a 740hp Cavalino Rampante and an ultra exclusive price.
Based on the F12 Berlineta, the Ferrari F60 America has some aesthetic modifications. For a start, it lost the roof, so you can hear the working of the 12 cylinders better while it takes the short 3.1 seconds to reach 100 km/h.
To highlight the model, Ferrari redesigned the light groups and with the help of a bonnet with two huge air intakes, it managed to give a slimmer look to the front of the F60 America. Reaching the rear, the piece de résistance of Ferrari models for the American market: two majestic arches of protection, constructed of intricate carbon fiber and leather.
The biggest surprise comes inside, with a seat of each color. That's right: a seat of every color, in a Ferrari. The exclusivity has these things. While the passenger sits on a black seat, the driver is surrounded by red, both on the seat and on the parts of the dashboard and center console. The colors of the American flag are present in a strip that crosses the two benches.
The mechanics are the same as that used in the F12 Berlinetta: a 12-cylinder block in V, with 6.3L that develops 760 hp of power. Besides the 0-100 km/h acceleration, no other performance values are known, however the Ferrari F60 America will certainly have no difficulties in making hair fly at more than 300 km/h
Similar to what happened in 1967, when Ferrari at the request of Luigi Chinetti produced the 275 GTS NART, only 10 Ferrari F60 America will be produced, each with a price of 2.5 million dollars, roughly €1,980,000 . Oh, and they're all 'worded'.
