Geohot wants to create a universal “autonomous driving kit”, for less than 900 euros.

His name is George Francis Hotz, but in the hacking world he's known as geohot, million75 or just a thousand. At 17, he was the first person to “hack” the iPhone's security system and by the time he was 20 he had already broken the Playstation 3's homebrew system.

Now 26 years old, George Hotz, is dedicated to nobler and perhaps more complex missions. One of them has taken place inside his discreet garage. Alone, Hotz has dedicated the last few years to developing an autonomous driving system that is apparently able to match the systems developed by the giants of the automobile industry.

A man against a battalion of engineers financed by millions of euros. It's possible? It seems so. Most. According to Hotz, his autonomous driving system is based on an advanced artificial intelligence system, capable of learning to drive by the example of other cars: the more time he spends on the road, the more he learns.

In the near future, George Hotz believes that he will be able to make this driving kit available for several cars, for a value below 900 euros.
