To face the more powerful versions of the mentioned models, the German press says that Mercedes-Benz is preparing a model technically based on the next generation of the CLS and aesthetically inspired by the AMG GT. The interior will have a capacity for 4 occupants. The advanced name is Mercedes-Benz GT4.
As for the engine, the strongest possibility is the adoption of the 4.0 bit-turbo V8 block, with a power that should oscillate between 500 and 600 hp. The remaining components (suspensions, brakes, etc.) should come from the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG parts shelf. A luxury cocktail, in a car that is expected to be explosive. The release date advanced by the German press points to 2019.
