Every year, history repeats itself, the city of Geneva, Switzerland, will be the capital of the automobile industry in the next few days. The main debuts, the best brands, the most exclusive cars and the most exotic preparations all together in one place, for 10 days.
As it should be, Razão Automóvel will, over the next few days, provide exhaustive coverage of the main news and presentations at the Geneva Motor Show.

Alfa Romeo Mito and Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde
The historic Italian brand will make full use of its sporting credentials. In addition to the renewed Mito Quadrifoglio Verde, the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde will also be presented, the most powerful version of the Italian brand's familiar compact.
Alfa Romeo 4C Spider

Alpina Series 4 Bi-Turbo Cabriolet
The German preparer Alpina appears in Geneva with a very appealing edition of the BMW 4 Series Cabriolet, more powerful and aesthetically sportier.
Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430
Aston Martin left English manners to the background, appearing at the Swiss event with a remarkably sporty model.
Audi S1
The smallest sports car from the ring brand makes its debut in Geneva. A concentrate of power and performance, in a kind of Audi TT to scale.
Audi S3 Convertible
Open-pit power. The Audi S3 Convertible tries to repeat the scrolls of the hatchback version, now without a hood.
Audi RS 4 Avant Nogaro selection
A revivalist edition of the late Audi RS2, the van that inaugurated the brand's tradition of rings in “muscled” family members.
Audi TT 2015 (3rd generation)
Based on the MQB modular platform of the Volkswagen group, the Audi TT will be the main innovation of the German brand.
Arash AF8
The Geneva Motor Show is not only made by big manufacturers and the little Arash, after 4 years since the launch of its last model, the AF10, reveals the brand new Arash AF8. The AF10 inherits the engine, originating from GM, a V8 with 7 liters and 557hp at 6500 rpm and 640Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The transmission is “old school”: manual and 6-speed.
BMW 2 Series Active Tourer
"Never say never". The BMW 2 Series Active Tourer aims to bring together the best of the van universe with the interior modularity of minivans. BMW is trying all this in a new format, promising to maintain the adventurous spirit while preserving the sporty slant recognized by the brand's models – even though this is the first front-wheel drive model in the range.
BMW M3 and BMW M4
The “super” BMW 3 and 4 Series will be the biggest stars of the Bavarian brand's showroom. Two respectable sports cars, which are presented in their best versions, making use of the best that BMW has to offer.
BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé
After the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé comes the 4 Series Gran Coupé. A model that shares all the technical solutions of the BMW 3 Series, but adds superior aesthetic appeal due to the shape of the body. A hybrid between a coupé and a saloon.
Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Legend
In what will be its last appearance at the Geneva Motor Show, the Bugatti Veyron presents itself in its last evolution before being presented its successor, predictably in 2015 and in this same event.
Citroen C1
The Geneva Motor Show is also made with city cars, and the Citroen C1 will be one of the most prominent presences at the Citroen stand.
Ferrari California T 2015
Completely renovated, the Ferrari California T represents the Italian brand's return to turbo engines. More power, better consumption and a more appealing aesthetic are the business cards of the 2nd generation of the most affordable model from Ferrari.
Ford Focus
Ford decided to renew the arguments of one of its main models: the Ford Focus. With a three-year commercial career, the current Focus now adopts a new front grille, similar to that of the brand's latest models, as well as changes to the interior.
Honda Civic Type-R Concept
The new sports car from the Japanese brand will come equipped with the new generation 2.0 VTEC engine, developed for the first time, to accommodate a turbo – an unprecedented difference in the range that made history for its atmospheric engines – with at least 280hp.
Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake 2015
Jaguar has shown in recent years – since it was acquired by an Indian group – an impressive breath. It is following this constant launch of models, with recognized technical and stylistic qualities, that the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake appears. Another luxury van to enter the fray with the German models that dominate the segment.
Koenigsegg One:1

Renault Twingo
It is the city dweller who is generating the greatest “hype” around him. Equipped with an engine and rear-wheel drive, many place the hope of bringing a more fun posture and driving experience to cities. Cities will never be so grey, says Renault.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II

Volvo Concept Estate

Volkswagen Golf GTE
It is the latest member of the GT family of the Golf range. A proposal that aims to offer all the sensations of the Golf GTD and GTI, but with more environmentally friendly consumption and emissions.
In addition to revealing production models, the houses specializing in the tuning of top-of-the-range cars also present their most exuberant novelties in Geneva. The Alpina B4 Bi-turbo Cabriolet and the TECHART GrandGT, a Porsche Panamera supplemented by the German house, stand out.
Prototypes also occupy a very special place on the agenda of the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. VW will present the T-Roc, a cross-over with a TDI engine. Rinspeed will present its vision of autonomous driving, the XchangE, a concept based on the Tesla Model S and whose main objective is to remove the driver from the machine/road equation.
Motor sport is not forgotten either. In Pavilion number 3, visitors will be able to discover an exhibition about what is probably the most famous automobile race in the world: the 24 hours of Mans. In this exhibition, it is possible to see 20 models that will take the 700,000 visitors to the show, on a journey through the evolution of the cars that participated in that competition. Organized by the OICA (Organisation Internationale de Constructors d’Automobiles), the 2014 Geneva Motor Show takes place in 7 halls, from 6 to 16 March. The entrance ticket to the event costs approximately €13.
