Rally de Portugal returns to the north with 16 qualifiers

With 16 qualifiers, a total length of 1,529.43 km and 13 municipalities involved, the WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal is back in the north of the country from 21st to 24th May.

The municipalities of Amarante, Baião, Caminha, Fafe, Guimarães, Lousada, Matosinhos, Mondim de Basto, Paredes, Ponte de Lima, Valongo, Viana do Castelo and Vieira do Minho got to know firsthand the format of the WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2015 .

The WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2015 will be played entirely north of the Douro river and will have its nerve center in Matosinhos, at Exponor's premises. With a compact format, it has 16 qualifiers spread over 4 days of competition.

1st day – May 21st – Shakedown / Match / Super Special

Walls - Shakedown

Shakedown sets the tone for the WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal and will be held in the municipality of Paredes, on the morning of Thursday, 21 May. The last hundreds of meters run inside the facilities of the Baltar Karting Track.

Guimaraes – Departure

In the early afternoon, the WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal squad heads to the city of Guimarães where, against the backdrop of the castle that represents the foundation of the nationality, the departure ceremony will take place.

Lousada - Super Special

The first timed kilometers will be covered on the Lousada ralicross track, which will host the only Super Special of the race.
