Eyes wide, that was how the Chinese were with the presentation of the Volkswagen C Coupé GTE Concept, a model that is in a phase very close to the production version. Considering the excellent acceptance of the concept, the designer Theophilus Chin decided to imagine a very convincing hypothetical shooting brake version (featured images).
Driven by a 1.4 TSI engine with a plug-in hybrid system, the Volkswagen C Coupé GTE Concept delivers a total of 245hp of power and 500Nm of maximum torque. An acceleration from 0-100km/h in just 8.6 seconds corresponds to a consumption of just 2.3 liters per 100km.
If the shooting brake version will come out of the paper for the production line? We do not know. We know however that the final version of the Volkswagen C Coupé GTE Concept will only be marketed (and produced) in China. It is a pity…
