Lumma Design has given the Range Rover a sportier feel while retaining all of its aristocratic character.
In order for the Range Rover CLR R to stand out among the rest, Lumma Design started by developing a new body kit. With a large part of the carbon fiber parts, this enlargement kit, gives the Range Rover, the muscular forms and the sporty grandeur that it lacks as a standard.
But the “carbon fiber magic” doesn't just stop with the bodywork, the Range Rover CLR R has more carbon fiber touches, such as: door handles, front grille and rear deflector and the cooling grilles placed on the hood .
To complement the Range Rover CLR R's aesthetic contribution, Lumma Design has endowed it with exclusive 22-inch wheels and Vredestein Ultrac Sixty tires.
In terms of mechanics, the Range Rover chosen for this injection of muscle was the most powerful diesel variant in the range. The 4.4l SDV8 block with 340 horsepower and 700Nm, saw power grow through the use of the Lumma D-box, a box power chip that allows the power level to be raised to 370 horsepower and 800Nm of maximum torque.
Through this power box, with an improved torque curve, it was possible to attenuate the mixed consumption of the Range Rover CLR R, in 0.5l.
The power box costs an expressive €749, but includes the exclusive engine cover from Lumma, in red, but in carbon fiber.
The exhaust is also fully customized by Lumma Design and has 4 tips, which according to Lumma, allows you to reduce pressure, thus increasing power.
Inside, the Range Rover teaches lessons in good taste, but Lumma Design has opted to equip the Range Rover CLR R with fully Alcantara leather trim and carbon fiber dashboard trim.
A proposal that gives a sporty character, completely different from the series version of the Range Rover. It's true that Lumma Design's Range Rover CLR R won't be a TT masterpiece, but inside the city and on trips to the ring, it will undoubtedly make the difference.
