Chinese create their own Lamborghini from scrap metal

It didn't take a mega-factory or even spend 17 years of life in a cellar for a young Chinese man to fulfill the biggest dream of his life: to own a Lamborghini! Even though it's a very “special” Lamborghini…

Wang Jiang – the hero we present to you today – is a quiet Chinese, member of a modest family of farmers in the interior of China, and resident in one of its poorest provinces. Jiang had dreamed and aspired higher than his limitations since he was a child. And when that is so, there is nothing to deter a man from his mission. And the mission and dream of this humble young man was to own a Lamborghini.

As you might have guessed, nothing works in favor of the realization of Jiang's dream. As winning the lottery is even more remote than having the money to buy an exotic Italian super sports car, this friend of ours got to work and built his own Lamborghini Reventon.

He took the chassis of an old Volkswagen Santana, added the engine of a modest Nissan, and let the sheet metal and scrap he's collected over the years be shaped to the beat of his hammer. The end result was an easily identifiable supercar: the Lamborghini Reventon. Just as I had dreamed!

This may not even be our dream car, but for this man it was all that was enough to make him happy. And in the present time, when disbelief and defeatism reign, it is stories like these that lift our spirits, isn't it true? Watch the video:
