Lamborghini has set a historic sales record. In 2015, the Italian brand surpassed, for the first time, the barrier of 3,000 units.

Automobili Lamborghini's worldwide sales results increased from 2,530 in 2014 to 3,245 units in 2015, representing a sales growth of 28% compared to the previous year. The Sant’Agata Bolognese brand sold 2.5 times more than in 2010.

Optimistic for the coming year, Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini SpA, says:

“In 2015, Lamborghini delivered exceptional sales performance and new records in all key business figures for the company, confirming the strength of our brand, products and commercial strategy. With the introduction of several new models in 2015 and financial strength, we are ready to face the year 2016 with optimism.”

With 135 dealers in different 50 countries, the sales increase was most significant in the US and Asia-Pacific, followed by Japan, UK, Middle East and Germany, which registered considerable sales growth this year.

This year's sales growth was due to the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 V10 which, 18 months after its introduction on the market, had already registered a 70% increase in sales, compared to its predecessor – the Lamborghini Gallardo -, in the same period after market launch.
