Cold Start. Crazy race. 1000 hp BMW M5 against rallycross machines.

Anonim

It's not the first time we've seen the BMW M5 from Evolve in carwow drag races and we know how insanely fast it is — just 10.0s in the quarter mile. After all, it is an M5 with 1000 hp of power!

We've already seen him “destroy” supersports, but today the challenge is different: to face a trio of machines from the British Rallycross Championship. Although they are not as powerful as the M5, they are much lighter (1300 kg against 2000 kg) and, as we know, rallycross cars are acceleration monsters.

They are a Ford Fiesta with 550 hp and between 600-700 Nm of torque (2.0 Turbo); a MINI Cooper with 600 hp and thundering 1000 Nm (2.0 Turbo); and finally, an old but always fantastic Ford RS200 with 500 hp and 750 Nm (2.1 Turbo).

All four-wheel drive, but the RS200 has a manual gearbox, while the other two have a faster sequential. The M5's 1000 hp, on the other hand, is passed to the ground via the production model's automatic transmission.

Spoiler alert: The RS200 unfortunately gave its creator its soul, with a turbo destroyed in the first race. Could the 1000 hp M5 be able to defeat the Fiesta and the MINI?
