About a year after unveiling the m225 power kit for the Ford Fiesta ST, Mountune “returned the charge” and managed to “squeeze” another 10 hp from the 1.5 l tri-cylindrical Ford hot hatch.
The British company has created a new power kit, the m235 . While the m225 made the 200 hp and 290 Nm standard of the 1.5 EcoBoost rise to 225 hp and 340 Nm, the m235 boosts power to 235 hp and torque to 350 Nm.
Like the m225, the m235 consists of an intake kit and an… app that allows you to calibrate the ECU using only your smartphone and the car's OBD input.
How much does it cost?
For those who already had the m225 kit installed, the m235 costs just 99 pounds (about 118 euros) and consists of a software update. Those who have not installed the m225 will have to pay 795 pounds (about 948 euros).

According to Mountune, the kit now developed for the Ford Fiesta ST maximizes the potential of the 1.5 EcoBoost, distributing the power and torque gains evenly across the different engine speeds.
As with the m225 kit, the m235 has three modes: “Performance”, “Stock Performance” and “Anti-Theft”. The first allows you to enjoy 235 hp and 350 Nm, gives launch control a more aggressive calibration and makes the exhaust sound more audible in the Sport and Track driving modes.
The m235 kit is the same as the m225.
As for “Stock Performance” and “Anti-Theft” modes, the first resets the factory parameters and the second works as an immobilizer.
