The show took place in Cinelândia square, in Rio de Janeiro, an iconic place of culture and social life in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in front of thousands of spectators. The choice of Brazil symbolizes the internationalization of the Peugeot brand and is also in line with the 208 signature “Let Your Body Drive”.

On December 9th, the first teaser film was released on the Internet. But about a week ago, the full film of the event came out, allowing you to live the sensory experience live that is broadcast on video on the Web and through social networks YouTube and Facebook, thus completing the device with an objective of “international viralization”.

Symbolizing the modernity of the Brand and the product, this show combined the use of state-of-the-art technologies (3D Mapping and Kinect projection), to which a fourth dimension was added: direct interaction with the public. During this show, spectators were led to live the signature “Let Your Body Drive”, collectively interacting with the rhythms and pulses of the event.

The Peugeot 208, successor to the 200 series, scheduled for release in March 2012, will be produced in France at the Poissy and Mulhouse factories, and at the Czech factory in Trnava. As of 2013, for the needs of Latin American markets, it will also be produced at the Porto Real plant, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
