On sale from November, the new Focus offers a new range of engines, including the new 1.5-litre blocks running on EcoBoost petrol and TDCi diesel.

Through a recreating design level, Ford created a more sophisticated and advanced Focus to reflect the One Ford global design language. Available in four-door, five-door and estate variants, and in the new Deep Impact Blue exterior color, the new Focus has a wider, lower position with a new bonnet, front section and grille. The bonnet is dynamically sculpted from the front pillar to the upper corners of the inverted trapezoidal grille.

Slender, chiseled headlamps and elongated fog lamps give the front section a bolder look. Small chrome accents add elegance, while the rear has also undergone changes, with a new composition in terms of design, together with the new tailgate and slimmer lights.

“We aimed to add more emotion to the Focus design by incorporating our latest 'Ford look',” said Joel Piaskowski, Design Director, Ford of Europe. “The new Focus is more toned and more athletic, with a more refined surface, something that definitely guarantees high expectations for the driving experience.”

When revamping the interior of the new Focus, Ford took customer feedback into account and responded with a more intuitive layout, complemented by a steering wheel and center panel with fewer controls and switches. The new satin black trim and chrome accents contribute to a cleaner, more modern look.

“We responded to a clear desire from customers for greater simplicity within the model, creating a clearer visual connection between the main components and significantly reducing the number of buttons in the cabin,” said Piaskowski.

The new Focus range will continue to offer a 99 g/km CO2 variant of the 1.0 EcoBoost 100 hp petrol engine. It is recalled that the current version became, earlier this year, the first non-hybrid gasoline family model in Europe to achieve a record of less than 100 g/km of CO2 emissions.
