Silence, efficiency and remarkable performance meet in the Mercedes C-Class 350 PLUG-IN HYBRID. The result was 279 hp of combined power and an advertised consumption of just 2.1 liters/100km.

After its debut in the S-Class, Mercedes-Benz is now debuting in the entire C-Class range the PLUG-IN HYBRID technology. Its four-cylinder petrol engine, together with the electric motor, constitutes a system with a total power of 205 kW (279 hp) and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, with certified consumption of just 2.1 liters per 100 kilometers – both in the Limousine and the Station. This corresponds to very low CO2 emissions: just 48 grams (49 grams in the Station) per kilometer.

These technological features make the C 350 PLUG-IN HYBRID a convincing proposal, which combines, in a single product, the energy efficiency of electric motors with the performance of large displacement motors. With a range of 31 kilometers in pure electric mode, driving without local emissions is now a reality. With the advantage of being able to recharge the batteries in the garage at the office, or at the end of the day at home. Ultimately the combustion engine serves as a generator and propulsion unit.

In the field of comfort and well-being, it should be noted that the two models (sedan and station) are equipped as standard with AIRMATIC pneumatic suspension and with the Pre-Entry Climate Control system, which allows you to control the model's climate control via the internet. The C 350 PLUG-IN HYBRID will reach dealers in April 2015.
