After a troubled phase, Spyker Cars intends to relaunch itself in the market with the launch of the new Spyker C8 Preliator.

After undergoing a restructuring process last summer, the Dutch brand Spyker Cars is preparing to unveil the new Spyker C8 Preliator. The design that the sports car will adopt is shrouded in secrecy: the image that serves as a teaser only shows the shapes of the front, with an emphasis on the air intakes and LED headlights.

The C8 was originally launched in 2000, based on an Audi 4.2-litre V8 engine and 394hp, and has since received numerous upgrades. Little is known about the specifications of the new model, but taking into account the brand's intentions to “explore sustainable technologies”, it is possible that the C8 Preliator will benefit from a hybrid or even 100% electric engine. To clear up any doubts we will have to wait until the Geneva Motor Show at the beginning of next week.
