At the end of last year, my colleague and greatest enemy of all time, Guilherme Costa, wrote a spectacularly delightful article about this M3, and despite there being some “let's say” in between, he managed to get almost everything he said right there. .
One of the biggest doubts was whether BMW would adopt the traditional in-line layout or opt for a V-shaped architecture. After considering some advantages and disadvantages of these two hypotheses, Guilherme bet on an M3 with 6 cylinders in line, and luckily for him, that's what's going to happen.
However, little more is known, rumors point to a 3.2 liter engine with an output of 444 hp. There's also the idea that there will be a performance package to spice things up a bit more. And here, too, we hear that the power will be boosted to 473 hp of power, which will allow the BMW to reach a top speed of 300 km/h.
