It seems the new Dodge Dart will be unveiled at the next Beijing Motor Show.
But wait there, Dodge Dart? Or should we say Fiat Viaggio?
Fiat Viaggio (“Travel” in Italian) is the result of a partnership between Fiat and Guangzhou Automobile Group and is based on the Dodge Dart, which, in turn, has the same platform as the Giulietta. Viaggio will start production at its factory in Hunan, China, towards the middle of the summer, and should make its debut at Chinese dealerships before the end of the year.
It is speculated that the Italian brand, for the Chinese market, will transform the sedan into a five-door hatchback, and later export it to the old continent, replacing the Fiat Bravo. Fiat is betting heavily on this “Trip”, hoping to sell 300,000 units by 2014.
Regarding the specifications, not much is known yet, only that it will be 4670 mm long and 1830 mm wide. But from the images, you can see that this Viaggio promises to win the hearts of many Portuguese. As soon as there is more news we will update the article again, until then, enjoy these images:
