The publication says that those responsible are interested in building a model that differentiates between the current Evoque and sport models, because, with the growth in sales of the BMW X and Audi Q models, Range Rover feels obliged to expand its range of models.

It is also said that the new “middle child” will use a structure identical to that of its younger brother, although most likely the chassis will have to be increased and some changes will have to be made to the interior. The brand is even considering creating a 7-seat version.

In the engine the “Grand” Evoque must use the new range of four cylinders developed by Jaguar-Land Rover. A 1.8 turbo petrol option, with an expected hybrid variant as well.

Forecasts? Well, Autocar predicts that it will only be in 2015 that this new version will be released. This version, which should be built in Halewood next to the Evoque due to the amount of mechanical elements they share.
